World Bee Day corresponds with an important influencer in the pioneering of beekeeping. In the 18th century, Anton Janลกa, pioneered modern beekeeping techniques in Slovenia. He was one of the first people to help bring awareness about the importance of bees in the world environment.
Since then, beekeeping has become a vital necessity in the worldโs ecosystems and economic systems.
Bees have been around for thousands of years, and the very first bee found was 100 million years old!
๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช ๐ ๐ฃ๐ค๐ฌ? Slovenia has one of the richest beekeeping traditions in the world?ย โ there are around 90,000 beekeepers in a population of just two million.
