Mussels in White Wine & Garlic

This will be your most FAVOURITE way to eat mussels - Promise!!! It is so unbelievably easy to make too. The spanish onion, garlic, and white wine make the perfect steam bath for the mussels. The broth is just magical - just wait until you soak up some of that goodness with a fresh piece of bread. Mmmmm! The delicious scents alone will bring you right to the sea side! Soooo good! Let's get started...


3 pounds of mussels
4 Tablespoons butter
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 cup white wine - Josh Cellars Pinot Grigio
5-6 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 Spanish onion, sliced
1/4 cup Parsley, chopped
1/2 Tablespoon paprika
Salt & pepper to taste

❥ Clean mussels
❥ Heat oil and butter until melted. Add sliced onions once transparent add garlic fry about 1 minute until fragrant.
❥ Add wine, parsley, paprika, salt & pepper (to taste)
❥ Bring to a boil. Add Mussels. Cover with lid
❥ Steam mussels for 7-10 minutes until mussels open.
* Serve with a baguette 🥖
