INGREDIENTS
- 24 Tbsp’s flour (or 1 1/2 cups)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 16 Tbsp’s granulated sugar (1 cup)
- 2 x large eggs, room temperature
- Zest from 1 orange
- 2 Tbsp’s juice from orange
- 10 Tbsp’s oil (1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp’s)
- 10 Tbsp’s milk (1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp’s)
- Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour or spray an 8 or 9” cake pan or Bundt pan.
- In a small bowl sift the flour and baking powder.
- In a large bowl beat the sugar and eggs on LOW speed until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
- Add in the orange zest, juice, oil and milk. Beat on low speed until well combined.
- Last, add in the flour mixture. This time use a whisk or a spatula and mix by hand.
- Pour into prepared baking pan. Bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before transferring onto a plate.
- Dust with icing sugar before serving. Dober tek!
