Due to its density and natural enzymes, maple boards are deemed antibacterial. Your board will last for years if properly cared for, especially if treated with mineral oil before its very first use. (*See below for proper care & use instructions)

*Care & Use: Before the very first use apply mineral oil on all surfaces of your board. Mineral oil helps you prevent the drying and the warping of the wood 
• Wash and rinse lightly with warm water
• Use a small amount do dish soap
• Do not immerse completely in water
• Do not wash using a dishwasher
• Dry the board standing on one side
• Apply food grade mineral oil regularly
